I am quite confused on why people are suggesting seo. Seo is very good in this site. It is PR3 andthe site Is only 1 year old! As far as seo, the site is top #1 on google. Have you guys checked my ad placements? I can't think of any other place to put them. And people, PLEASE STOP SENDING ME PM's on how to get traffic!!!
With my traffic and good seo and high PR I thought I should be hitting 100 a day by now. Like I said some people have maybe 1/4 of my traffic yet earns more!
I have 4,000 page views and you are right about low paying keywords, the traffic is not the main part in this business.
You have 90% New Visits And 80% Bounce Rate Just a quick look at your stats, will tell you why your earnings are down.. You have no returning visitors, then 80% of those that do visit bounce off after one page.. It seems people are not finding what they want at you site.. Also for a movie site you would expect to see a lot more returning visitors, maybe have a look at your site layout/style.. try to get people to hang out more at your site, and with that will come more clicks..
AdSense CPM depends in part on your niche. Travel, health, finance, etc., do very well, while others do badly. Another factor is whether you have keywords in your pages that attract high value AdSense ads. It helps to optimize your pages for AdSense the way you would optimize them for SEO. AdSense CPM Depends on Category
Earnings depend on traffic as well as niche too... I see wallpapers sites don't earn much, insurance sites do
I don't believe it depends on niche. For example, there are people saying that the gaming niche is low & I know someone with a game site & they make enough with AdSense to live off on. It's about how much work you put into it. You should probably try your hand at affiliate marketing. Do that right & you could make more than you made with AdSense.
There are many variables that come into play with adsense and merely having a website that gets a lot of traffic does not necessarily equate to huge earnings. After reading through the thread it appears your site consists of social media which is well known for being a low paying niche.
I completely agree. The source of your traffic is also a huge factor in determining the ultimate price per click that the website will average. If the traffic is garbage and visits to the advertiser's website generally last only for a mere few seconds, Google will eventually determine that the traffic source is not converting well and the result will be a low epc.
To be honest, I find these stats a bit disturbing. Average time on site 1 minute? Bounce rate 80%? Seems like people come to your site, are turned off by it's spammy design (sorry mate, but that's just my honest opinion, I went there and didn't know where to look first) and click back again. Maybe think about changing the design, making it more well-arranged and clean looking. Anyway, congrats on the traffic.
