    HarryPotterFan.Me is on SALE

It's one of the most high traffic Harry Potter Fan sites in the world, thanks to a lot of social media viral traffic. I would like you to see some of these article links on the site and the social media share counts below them:

    CMS: WORDPRESS

    TRAFFIC

Major Source: Social media, especially Facebook.

Initial traffic generated is by a Facebook page I own for one of the popular Harry Potter characters which currently has 50,000+ fans - all organic - took two years to reach this level. SEO almost negligible. I barely worked on link building for this site...it was more of find articles, copyright them, publish and then post on the Facebook page. From here on it was upto the fans to decide how viral they could make the article by sharing it, liking it, tweeting it or stumbling it! I never had to work hard on the social media aspect at all...the hardest part has been correctly typing/copyrighting the articles, ad placements and all that!

Suggestions to potential buyer for more traffic
    :
    1. SEO: If you buy this site and get work done on the SEO bit, I am quite sure you can double, triple or even quadruple the traffic on this site as well as the ad revenue.
    2. Google news: Post daily+add more authors on the site and submit the site to google news for inclusion. I had already fulfilled the permalink condition for inclusion when I started the site. Once its included in Google news there's no stopping the owner from being invited to the Google Adsense Premier Publisher program and of course much more revenue.

    Monetization

    • Google Adsense (generates average $35/month)
    • Amazon Associates (average $45/month)
    • Commission Junction (average $30/month by banner placements on site. Add $20/month if you buy with Facebook which and post links directly there. I will PM the buyer what programs work best)
As I mentioned earlier you can greatly improve the revenue generation from this website by increasing the traffic in simple ways.

Why am I selling this website?

Its really been like an easy passive income for me, but I need funds for my startup venture and this is just one of the ways I am going about it. Also, I'd like to now concentrate on just my new venture and nothing else, so selling it to someone who can utilise it for their benefit and also make the site grow seems the best idea.

I will be glad to offer tips and help on Skype etc to the buyer. To potential buyers I will be answering questions on DM here.

Remember, BIN buyer also gets my Facebook page (50,000+ fans) where I promote articles from this website for FREE (PM me for link of the fanpage).

I am quite sure there hasn't been a sale of a website so viral on DP for a long time. Don't miss this chance :D

    Good luck!

could you please Pm me the link to your site. I'm more interested in the facebook fan page than anything else. What would take for it just by itself.

    Thank you.

Don't you think that $1000+ is too high for a site which has only 10k page views per month and don't get good traffic from Search engines?

DM sent :) I do not plan to sell the Facebook page standalone as of now.

    Thanks, that's a good question.

The $1299 is only the BIN price (Plus I'm giving away the Facebook page with 50K+ fans free to the BIN buyer). This is an auction and the starting bid is $500, which is the minimum for which I'd sell this site. Yet, I think the $1000+ price tag would be justified because of the following:

    • Premium .me domain that's relevant to the site content - renewed less than a week back on Godaddy.
    • Viral social traffic on most articles. Rare will you find websites being sold on DP that have had articles with 6000+ stumbles, and where most articles get at least 2000 likes/shares on Facebook. Click here to see social shares on the most recent articles.
    • Harry Potter news aggregator on the home page. Collects latest news from the top Harry Potter fan sites, including our own! This also helps in getting ideas for publishing content on our site.
    • Best in class ad placement on the inner pages for maximum monetization. For example, see the adsense and affiliate banner placements on this article
    • Potential for at least 300% percent increase in traffic (and revenue). As mentioned in the main post, there's been so SEO effort done on this site. Any efforts by you for SEO and inclusion of this site in Google news would have an excellent impact on the alexa ranking of the site.

OK I just bid. It would be better if you giveaway the facebook page to auction winner. BIN is too high
