Recently bought this site on impulse at sitepoint, but haven't got the time to run it. It needs someone who can spend the time and add more sites.

The site is running on a modified version of the phpBannerExchange Gold Scirpt. I fixed the paypal payment errors, I recoded a anti-cheat routines used in the script and made the routines myself. I recoded the IP tracking along with the refferal website tracking in the built in click tracking now along with tracking the clicks it shows the reffering sites the clicks came from. The rewrote click routines balances the timeframe seeing a banner and the repeated clicking to over come cheating amoung other tatics.

The site is pretty much self run. All you have to do is login, send out news letters telling of the latest deals, and approve accounts after looking to see if they placed banners on the site.

It could use a webmaster that would want to go out and collect whois data to email arcade, myspace, image, and gaming site owners to join the banner exchange to get more users into the exchange.

how do you get 450k page views out of 85 members??? please explain also I don't see your price, what is it?

The 85 members place the banner on their sites. So however much traffic they have is what translates back to this site. I have only had it for a few days so haven't really done anything other than put it on my server.


No time for it. Just an impulse buy. It basically runs it self, but you need to validate new accounts and also have the drive to go and contact other site owners.

If it doesn't get a decent price then I will hire someone to go out and advertise it for me. I have 3 large forums and a custom mmorg coming out soon.

I didn't do the recoding, the other guy did. I can get a list of what he did for the new owner.

I just bought it from sitepoint a few days ago. Not in it for a quick flip, just don't have time to do the leg work to contact webmasters to increase participation.

Not to worried if it was worth the price or not. If it sells it sells. If not, as stated before, I will hire someone to do the leg work for me and to do some custom coding I had in mind when I bought it. I have several sites just sitting waiting for when I have time on my server.
