High searches keyword but low competition?

    Hey guys, how can a keyword have high searches but low competition please? As an example, i type "windows 10 upgrade" in Planner and it is showing 12,100 average monthly searches and low competition, how is that possible?

    "windows 10 upgrade" it is not a commercial keyword and there is low competition in AdWords.

    There are keywords which are having high search volumes , but low competation. High search volume keywords are keywords that people search more, but as these keywords are not much used by websites they are having less competation. Those keywords are not used by more competators. Even though the audiences uses these keywords, they are not targetted by competators. It is easy to bring high volume, less competation keywords to top rankings.

    There are a lot of such keywords with lots of searches. But it's too difficult to monetize such noncommercial traffic.
