I'm wanting to sell my tech blog. Some people might be curious about why I'm selling it, well my answer is simple. I'm 16 now and I'm currently doing my GCSEs. I have piles of coursework to be getting on with and I simply don't have time for this kind of stuff right now so I'm selling this so the blog won't die out and can be carried on by someone else, well that and the fact I need money.

The posts on the website and 100% unique and have never ever been posted anywhere else. They were all writen by me in my spare time and like I say, I don't have much spare time left anymore.

Also a quick search on Google will show that this blog is respected by Google and is of high quality.

Bid now and grab yourself a decent website which could make you alot more money than you pay for it.

That's your proof of traffic, I don't have any proof of revenue since I never used any websites like Google AdSense.

 

you have no way of proving revenue? Your not going to get anywhere near the 900 without it. If your making $300 a month surely you can show paypal screens atleast... How is it making money?

 

I sell sometimes sell links, sometimes advertising banners and sometimes I get paid for posting. For the first 5-6 month I made NO REVENUE. I then decided to sell links and made about $300 for about two months in a row and then kind of neglected my blog so I'm deciding to sell it.

 

is it automated or do you need to update. Where is the content from and how long does it take you to update it

 

OK, I've managed to dig deep into my Paypal history and have found a transaction involving a link sale of about 1-2 months:

 

It's deffinatly not automated, It takes anywhere from 15 mins to 1-2 hours to update it properly. I usually research an article in about 10-15 mins then write it in about half an hour and once it is posted I take 15-20 mins to post it on Social Media websites and post a link on Twitter and Facebook. So about 1-2 hours a day is about right depending on how much you want to update it.

 

OK so currently it is not making any revenue, you can't claim revenue based on what you made at one time months ago. I was interested if you were currently earning 300 P/M with it.

 

2 hours a day is a lot only to make $300/month. Is there a way to keep the same traffic, but by devoting maximum 1-2 hours a week

 

But I actually can claim since I stopped blogging altogether for a while which didn't allow me to make the money but if I carried on I could have but I have wayyy to much work to be getting on with.

profoundsearch, 1-2-3 hours a week is enough but I'd have to warn you, like any webmaster would tel you, content is king, a lack of it could drop your traffic by loads.

 

My point is that currently its making NOTHING which makes it worth a whole lot less then what your asking.
You made it seem as though it was making $300 per month when you listed it and you never mentioned that it wasn't in the first auction either....

 

Whoever buys this website could easily start making that amount again, I have stopped making posts altogether and have stopped offering links and ad spaces which is why I have stopped making money.

 

Can tell me where do you get the traffic from.

 

Traffic is mostly from social media websites such as delicious, digg, mixx etc. I also get from social networking websites like Facebook and Twitter and loads from forums like this.
