high-quality links

Hi;

When somebody has problem with google seo , everybody suggest "you must have high-quality backlinks"

i wonder that what high-quality backlink is . what are the criterias of high-quality backlinks in google eyes?

A link, pointed to your website, that is present in a well established site, with lots of uniques and probably with a higher PR...

Well, this what I am saying might not be 100% true, but I have heard that google has reduced/changed algo for backlinks from other sites. Result of this, backlinks went from thousands to hundred! Is that true?
Then one thing must be take care of while choosing the sites while adding your link on them. Any idea on this?

 

I think that this is because of normal periodical process of deleting pages with same/similar content from google servers. In that point of view YES you should be aware from where you are linking to - it can be wasting of your time.

 

Deleting same/similar content?? Make non sense to me.
I wrote articles for my site, articles that have been posted in articles site for back links. Will my site be deleted from G as same/similar content, or the others guys??

i agree that was simple and good explain but i did not understand great site in your sentence. great site is a bit general word for example is dp forums great site according to your opinion ?

 

Lets not forget a related site... A high PR, well aged and known car site linking to your gardening site is not ideal. The more related the content on the page that links to your site, the better.

 

Great site is the site where owner invest a lot of work/time/money to it and that can be seen by first view

To me, a high quality backlink is links relevant in content nature.

 

While talking about backlinks, anchor text plays an important role. If you choose the keywords which are included in both sites meta - yours and the link posted on - then it considered as high quality in that context.
