Wow This is really a very good article.. You have provided valuable information.. I just have a doubt.. Yahoo indexes no-follow links also where as Google indexes only Do-Follow links. Why is that??

Well written. Surprised by the ezine traffic. I always assumed ezine traffic was coming from other webmasters considering posting an ezine article. At least in my niche, ezine articles never rank well in the SERPS.

Ezine articles usually rank really well as long as you target the right keywords.

I mean, if you title your Ezine "Fat Loss" of course you woBn't be ranked.

But if you use some long-tail keywords you may actually come on top.

Excellent tips. Especially the first part. Link building is part of promoting a site. It takes time and hard work. If you want to make some serious money, you have to put in the work.

    few things i'd add-

    Press releases
Slideshare (If you have content appropriate for it)
Youtube-(Not for SEO but for traffic generation)

With Ezine, long tailed keywords do well.

Don't forget to track your link exchanges. Putting up a link that is not reciprocated wont help ya. Don't use an excel spreadsheet, there are lots of services out there, though I'm partial to ours. We have a free version that would allow you to track up to 25 links, though if you want to try out a Pro account just use the promo code wmforum and you will get 60 days for free.
