Search engine optimization, often commonly referred to as SEO, is the process of molding your website's content and structure to improve performance and rankings in search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing. This process has changed significantly in the past decade and is becoming more and more of a science every day. While this may sound simple it has actually become increasingly more complex.

Some factors are subtle but must be paid close attention to. One such factor is keyword density. In the olden days of Google it used to be possible to stuff your keyword into your website content over and over to get in the top 10. That is a thing of the past. Try something of this nature now and you'll likely find your website completely thrown out of Google's index. Now you have to use your primary keyword sparingly and use other, similar keywords to achieve the best results.

With recent changes to search engine algorithms there are now many more factors that contribute to how well and long your website is ranked. Getting to the top positions on page one of Google, for instance, requires having well-written content, a plethora of quality backlinks and many other aspects. Unfortunately, there are also several factors that remain undiscovered that affect search engine placements as well.

Some of the best practices of search engine optimization are also some of the simplest. Publishing relevant content on a regular basis is one example. You can also write articles for other blogs as a guest blogger or even submit them to article directories for a boost in traffic and quality, incoming links. Obtaining backlinks from authoritative websites related to the business or niche you work shows Google, and other engines, that your website is highly relevant for the terms you want to rank for. For example, if your website is about personal finance you should strive to get your website linked to from Kiplinger.com or other similar sites.

Another factor that has recently become an integral part of search engine optimization is social activity. Having real people mention your website or its pages on Facebook, Twitter, Digg, Pinterest and other social websites tells search engines that your content is popular and generally appreciated by readers. If your content is compelling or useful people will share it with others through social media. Anytime the content on your website is shared it is essentially â€œvotedâ€ for as being quality, helpful information.

In order to obtain the best spots in search engines you must incorporate all of these things into your website, not just one or two. Develop your website with a strategy in mind that will encompass all of these important aspects and you'll find yourself on the road to success.

Article #2 (535 words) about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

Everyone that plays games on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 consoles is familiar with the Call of Duty series. The first title in the series was released in 2003 under developer Infinity Ward and publisher, Activision. Eight years later we have Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. While the CoD series has evolved greatly since its first appearance it still stays true to its roots. MW3 has an action-packed, compelling campaign as well as an addictive, fast-paced multiplayer counterpart.

The single player campaign is short-lived but still a must play. It continues and concludes the saga of the Modern Warfare series. The guys and gals behind Call of Duty have all but streamlined the storyline of this series but it's still fun to play through. As with previous installments you'll find yourself fighting your way through hordes of enemies at one point and then chasing a single target at another. It may seem like a familiar schedule of events to players who have gone through the other Modern Warfare campaigns but it still keeps you on edge until the last minute.

Call of Duty has built a strong fan base and reputation almost exclusively due to the ever popular multiplayer aspect of the game and that has grown since the release of Modern Warfare 3. While the gameplay looks and feels similar to its predecessor, it has been greatly improved with tighter gun firing, smoother movements and an overall better performance. New players will find the controls easy to get used to while seasoned players will enjoy the vast improvements over past titles.

As with other Call of Duty titles, Modern Warfare 3's online multiplayer has a leveling system for determining a player's rank. There are 80 base levels but once you've reached level 80 you can opt to prestige which opens up another set of 80 new rank symbols. In total, there are 20 prestige sets. So, overall, there are an astounding 1,600 levels to move through. The benefit of going through the prestige process is that you unlock Prestige Tokens which can be used to purchase some nifty stuff in the Prestige Shop. Within the Prestige Shop you can buy extra custom classes (maximum of 10), double experience points for a 2 hour period, double weapon experience points for 2 hours, new titles, new emblems and a few other surprises.

Along with player ranks Modern Warfare 3 also introduces weapon ranks. The more you use a specific weapon, the more experience you will gain with it. As you level up your weapons you will unlock perks specifically designed for them such as better hip fire, less recoil and double attachments. You'll also unlock weapon upgrades such as grenade launcher, under-barrel shotguns and advanced scopes. There are over 35 weapons in MW3 including pistols, shotguns, assault rifles, sniper rifles, sub-machine guns, light machine guns and various projectile launchers.

Overall, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 provides a great gaming experience. The game has already broken several sales records and captured the hearts of millions of first-person shooter enthusiasts. While the series has become an assembly line of new titles coming out yearly, this particular game has very high replay value and fantastic gameplay.
