Can anybody tell me what are the high-profile blogs on blogger besides google's own blogs and what do you think in your opinions account for their success?

Perseverence is what you need to invest. But actually what people has found useful in this blog that accounts for the popularity of these blogs. I know both about Postsecret and Xiaxue. I can understand the fame of Post Secret because it has helped a lof of people on their personal development but Xiaxue is just pure rubbish with tons of photoshopped pictures. So what made xiaxue famous according to you?
I've heard about that site before. Didn't they have some trouble over plagiarism or something similar?

I didnt know about americablog. Judging from the number of comments in the latest post and considering the size of the post, I guess this is the highest profile blog Ive encountered besides PostSecret on blogger. $200/day is a really neat sum on a free blogging platform. One thing Ive noticed about high profile blogs on blogger is that they were here three years before us and so they have managed to get the lion share of the blogger readers. Guess we will have to play it in the long term and not give up now.
Another key is uniqueness. Otherwise people won't link to you. Both quality and uniquess are what we need in content. But I agree that things just take time.
