Lucky perhaps. Too bad I don't know how to tap any money out of it. Couple bucks a day from CPM but that's about it.
150-500 uniques a day if I don't have a new post (so all organic), 1000+ if I do post. 5000+ if it's a good post and 20 000 the day i posted that PR6 post. I'd assume my organic traffic is so low because I don't have very many posts and so I'm not hitting all the keywords I could be. Most the posts I do have though rank on the first page for the searches I targeted.
Let's do a test. Link that page to the site in my signature and we can see if it goes up in PR any time soon . Hehehe...
I shared my real story on that blog post AND also used an anchor of my choice. I know your blog is a nofollow blog but still, I hope i'll get some traffic off it and hopefully, people will like my story as it has a happy ending and it should help a lot of people with atheism
Let's just hope it will last for long dude, as huge jumps in PR specially above 5 won't last usually Nothing personal, but it's how it goes... Enjoy it
It's most likely a temp boost of PR linked from a big site and just as likely to go away within 1 - 2 months.
The PR calculation has become weird and I have seen many of the relatively new sites with very few backlinks rank higher while established and authoritative sites with a lot of backlinks going down the PR ladder!
The page has a PR 6 pointing to it from reddit, which is where it is getting most of its juice. I admit, when I saw the post the first thing that came to mind are the people that think Google is God. How appropriate a post about an Atheist gets good PR!
i really like your blog dude, my kind of humour but i do also think your link strength profile doesn't support this PR level, it could be a temporary surge as has been suggested, or maybe Google have started factoring in popularity into PR now, who knows. anyway good luck with it, I'll be checking it out regularly now whatever PR it ends up
If you make the sale. So until you make the sale you don't make more money, you make no money in fact. Does it gives you better and more ways monetize your site? Absolutely, but the PR itself doesn't make you money.
It is one of does things Google have not get right, I think it is wrong, it will be corrected by Google internally. If not good luck.
Congratulations but this is proof of how inaccurate pr is these days, it's not longer what it was many years ago.
