I think alot of us might have gotten PM-spammed today by a fella talking about High-PR Forums that DO-Follow the links. He gave a few for free and then tried to sell some stuff. But the point of his message was that there are PR 8,9,10 forums that you can post on to build up your backlinks. I have complied a partial list of links direct to the forums (mostly tech) on my make a million bucks a day blog. I hope you find the list useful and post responsibly and on subject.

The inside pages of these forums don't even have a page rank, so I don't see how posting there will be of any value??

    Maybe someone could elaborate.

    Thanks

    They have PR -
If you make a new topic, it wont have Displayed PR right away until the next update (but you can be sure that it has internal PR)

If you respond to an older topic, that should have PR already

It's hard to share as I don't want to create lists like this for people to start spamming forums... the more people doing it the more spammy it becomes and more likely the forums will stop all allowing do follow.. I know some sites stopped allowing comments altogether!

It may have been in the past, then it found itself into a list like this one, and to get all the spammers off their back they needed to add the nofollow attribute. Just like most of the forums on this list will do once they find out they are on some spam happy list.
    __________________

The spammers will not end till nofollow doesn't matter any more... they all need to be shot in the head, and those that find the need to promote the spamming of sites need to be hit in the head repeatedly till some sense is knocked into them.

Though, if you are going to spam forums, then give to the community you are posting on, don't just push links.

Forum Link Building tips (it's not just your signiture!)

Gives some good methods on forum posting to get links...but if you are not a part of the community, you'll find yourself banned and your site labeled as a place of spammers.

I checked a few of these and they are all nofollow. Am I missing something here?

Still there are those who do not believe in nofollow anyway. What does the forum say?

I'd assume that they were followed links till they made it to the list. Since that time they had to add in nofollow to stop all the worthless spam they found themselves with. ;)

    Great resources. Thanks!

Are there more blogs out there? It seems that there are plenty of forums, but not enough blogs.

Another great forum for people in the travel niche is http://www.lonelyplanet.com/thorntree/ it's a PR8.
I have a couple of PR3 backlinks from them. You can't have a signature on the forum but you can post links. When I make a comment I always put a link to my site at the bottom :p
And for linux related things there is forums.gentoo.org wich is a PR6.

The best torrent site that I have found online bar none so far is torrent-finder.com

This website parses virtually every known torrent search engine out there..

However, the downfall is that its a litte slow loading.. Probably due to all the traffic.

    Enjoy!

I'm still looking for more sites and less forums. I cant count the number of fourms I have joined.

Anyone know of any movie and TV related sites out there that could help?
