high posters?

Can some one tell me what these 20k posters get from doing all the posts they do here i know ofcourse they get liked and respect and a good rep but what eles do they get out of it?

Would you say its abit addictive like thinking woooo im on 2000 posts i want 5000 in 3 months!

I think that it is abit like that and i just went into the introduction section and i saw alot of people build post counts up there, But come on is there any point in been mad about post count?

 

Many of them have been here for several years, so it works out at only a dozen or so posts each day. They get the satisfaction of having a wide exposure and helping a lot of people. They can also sell their signature space if they're that way inclined.

Avoid running up your post count with bone replies - make sure you make quality posts otherwise you'll feel the wrath of the mods.

 

and i thought it was because they like the people they chat to and make friends with.

 

Some are senior member whom are very helpful around. Not everyone is a spammer in a forum.

 

i think most of the ones with a high count are (generally) just helpful people and have been a member a long time and want to help...

Most of us are either here to help or make money.

I think the longterm uses get satisfaction and joy from helping others .

 

20,000 Posts = $200/month for a signature link

 

They get free sex and bragging rights.

 

They can sell sig links for big big big money per month
