High Payouts at beginning of month

I noticed it the last two months already and it happens again this month, the first 3-5 days I get extremely high payouts i.e. ~$3 CPM while I usually get only $0.75 CPM the rest of the month. Does anyone else notice such development in earnings throughout the month or is there an explanation for this?

 

Well I haven't noticed that earlier... but this month have been insane. If I'll have the same cpm on average this month as I've had the first 5 days, I'll double my income... The click throu ratio and the number of page impressions seems to normal.

 

Yes, i've noticed a similar trend lately. the payout is a bit higher in the beginning of the month. if i had to explain it my guess would be that advertisers approach their campaigns on a monthly basis: they spend agressively in the beginning of the cycle (month) and then slow down as the funds for that month are drained.

 

Well, I didn't recognize that trend with my AdSense, but if it is that way, I guess devbistro is right.
Must be, that the companies have fresh money to spend at the beginning of the month and it gets periodically less, the closer the month gets to its end...

 

Yes, i've noticed a similar....but my site is about flower so it's can be in the valentine time
