don't worry too much about high paying keywords. its useless because competition is fierce and barriers to entry is very high especially when you just get started. Try to find keywords that have good amount of searches and competition is considerably low. work your way from there. good luck

 

Some of the guides I've read suggest dropping down a thousand keywords and start from there.

Don't know if I would use thousand though. That's probably getting saturated now as well.

Better just list it out from niche to niche which has the highest paying keyword. So it easy for us to search.
