High or Low Gravity?

    Hey everyone

I just had a question for other clickbank affiliates here. Do you guys have more success promoting high or low gravity products?

I just want to get a general idea of what people are promoting. One of the products I am promoting has very high gravity (150+) and I can't seem to get any sales for it even with a website with a review of it and articles sending some traffic, while another one has about 70 gravity and I have gotten 3 sales from it with a review on a squidoo page with even less traffic and no articles.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

    Alibubble,

The reason why the higher gravity items are probably not doing too well, is probably because alot of those higher gravity products are being sold primarily by PPC campaigns. The lower gravity (50-100) are usually sold more by bum/article marketing techniques. Now it could be the other way around too, but I would think the higher gravity items are loaded with tons of affiliates vying for PPC.

I think it depends on the method that you are using for promoting products.
For example, if you PPC, then I wouldn't suggest you to promote high gravity products, because CPC will be high and competition very high.
So for PPC are good low gravity products.

However, let's say with Bum Marketing, you probably can use any kind of products, because you are not going to spend money on advertising.

It really depends on the product and on the promotion type.

High steady gravity means that the product is sold by many affiliates on regular basis. This can also mean high PPC competition and therefore low margins.

Low gravity can mean anything. The product itself may or may not suck. It doesn't mean low competition because even 1 affiliate can put up a lot of PPC fight.
