High grav or Low grav, what's your choice?

I've been looking for new things to promote through clickbank lately, and sometimes I here the hottest products are the best to sell, but yet there is so much competition. On the other hand, I've been told while low grav products don't have much competition, they don't sell

    what do you think?

I prefer not to look at gravity but if anything I will try to find the next big thing no homo.

Low gravity does not necessarily mean they don't sell. Most often, number of sales per affiliate would be higher for lower gravity products than the higher ones. But then again, you should know what is a good product that will sell.

    Forget gravity.

Investigate the salescopy and base your decision off of that. If the salespage has a good headline, gives a powerful reason why, tells a story, uses emotional appeal, social proof, etc... then as long as there is a target market for the product, I would give it a test run (no matter what the "gravity" is).

Agreed. I would look at the refund percentage though, as sometimes even a seemingly great offer can be poor quality inside the product, thus producing a high refund rate. Nothing more frustrating than working so hard to get that first sale... and having it show up as a refund the next day.

*slaps forehead* it all makes sense now...I feel pretty stupid for focusing on gravity for a while...I should have focused more on how much I make and the percentages...just because a lot of people don't sell it doesn't mean I can't...

I agree with Telmari 100%. I will pay most attention to the refund percentage. Sales could look great, but if a lot of people are asking for a refund that cannot be a good sign. Also if you get a chance ask around forums about the product you are promoting. See if it is something that holds value. While we are in the business to make money, I don't think part of that would be to rip others off by selling them a bogus product.

If the product is good, we can promote it. That's a sales funda. Gravity doesn't matter.

I recently started using Clickbank, I usually look for high gravity products, but I won't rule out a product that looks interesting just because it isn't high gravity.

I only sell in niches I know about, and I usually look at a product and think 'would I buy that' - if I would, then others will too.
