High end laptops and places to buy them

Due to unforeseen circumstances I'll be forced to rely on a a few laptops in the next 12 to 18 months . So here I am trying to find a good solution .

The minimum i need is 18.4 displays with 1920 by 1080 resolution , quad core , 4 gb ram , dual HDD and Nvidia GPUs (I hate ATI) . I'm a power user can easily make two cores run at 100% the entire day . I'm using Maya and After Effects from time to time and I have programs like Illustrator display over 1 million anchor points quite often (cursing occurs during rendering of some effects :p)

My biggest dilemma is if I should get a dual GPU (SLI) laptop . Would it pay off ? IDK The prices for those are always at 2000 USD minimum .

I'm looking to buy at least 4 laptops (1 in the beginning and 3 more after some serious testing) . I had a brief look at Amazon and I'm a regular on newegg.com but i think there must be more good websites that sell this kind of things .

Can you please help me with this problems ?

Is SLI worth the extra grand for me and where can I buy the cheap high end laptops i need ?

You will get a poor response here. Ask this on yahoo answers.

newegg is one of the best sites.. You can try tigerdirect.com as well

For GPU - Are you looking at geForce or Quadro? For your work professional GFX solutions are better. Coupling two geForce wont do much good for Maya or After Effects.

Also, I do not understand why would anyone 'hate' AMD or nvidia for that matter. Both make equally powerful products.. Also CrossfireX scales much better than SLI.

    Take a look here -
