High CTR?

    Hi

Should I get worried if I get 10 page impressions and 20 clicks? I know that some people could use the back button, but my CTR is really high the last month or so.

 I also had 2 clciks the one day with 0 page impressions.

    Thanks

If you're playing by the rules don't worry about it.

A regular server-lag. Don't worry about it too much. After a few hours, the *correct* CTR will appear.

Yes you must keep quiet. If you don't have anything good to add keep quiet.

Agreed. Plus Google has all the IP address of yours and other people who clicked. As long as exec_ID { your_IP >< clicker_IP, then null void }; end.

I use a proxy broadband connection so my IP is shared one with many other people. what if someone with whome I share my IP comes to my site and clicks on ad?
Practically it doesnt violate TOS, but technically.....???

Good point. My broadband here is shared with like 10 people. I can't answer you. But then, none of these people could care less on what I've been doing anyway (read:AdSense addict, stay in the room all day).

Maybe anyone can answer this as well.

I would be slightly worried with such a high CTR. I believe anything over 25% might cause them to investigate.

I believe Google looks at trends and have enough data to recognize something unusual/suspicious.

Also, google uses javascript to determine i clicks are coming from the same computer (IP address is not really important).

it's easy to get a high CTR if you have no way out of the site except for clicking on the ads or by pushing the back button.

    Yepp they use cookies.
I am worried about network proxy b'coz i had done a big ad campaign within the local area. and I did it b4 I opted for adsense, I still get heavy traffic from my local area and many of them are under the same proxy as mine.
