High CTR today

    Extremely high ctr today which is weird. But the other weird thing is its with abnormally high traffic levels which is also weird. Im beginning to like thursdays. Has anyone had the same things happen to them?

    My CTR rate is normal.

    It depends where your extra traffic came from. Search engine visitors give a higher CTR for me.

    Maybe you got a higher CTR because you're getting more organic traffic today (hence more of a targeted audience). Did you monitor this?

    When Google (and other search engine) traffic goes up, then CTR goes up. That's the trend I noticed.

    Also, if your "new" traffic rises, then so does CTR.

    My weakest day is a sunday, but thats normal. My biggest days are usually wednesday. It has a sequence and its not just for one niche because i have a site in numerous niches.

    My CTR dropped 50% today because my site is being served ads from autos.yahoo.com. They're insurance ads, but my site is a sports related site.

    This is the first time that it's happened, so I have no idea what's the cause of this.
