Within my organization there will be LTOs, promotions, or flash sales that will drive 10-20x normal traffic, especially with a burst just as product is about to go on sale with a sense of scarcity in inventory. I'm curious if anyone has ever used a queuing system that throttles users from entering the ecommerce site. If so, has it been effective? What platforms have people used? How was the user experience? What have you paid? Do you have to pay in advance? How have you justified the cost to your executive team? Thanks.
Hi @cejohnson, have you checked out Queue-it (https://queue-it.com/)? They are offering a virtual waiting room solution/queue system for many retailers who are in the same situation like yours and offer a cool user experience on the queue page at affordable costs. You can check out for yourself how they help retailers & e-commerce platforms here: https://queue-it.com/success-stories/
