i thought of something today. instead of spamming links that are way to obvious in post what if i did this? write a regular text post and still a url in between words. just like i wa<a href="http://your url">S</a> doing that. See how i made the S part of the hyper link. that that way it does not look like you are spamming. Will link juice be passed by using that method as there is no anchor text?
I think it would look worse and still yet, you would may end up ranking for one letter. Also many search engines would find this the same as hiding text with blending color like white on white.
There is no anchor text value there, plus the mods are probably even more likely to ban you. Its probably best to either commit to your spamming methods in full or better still, just not do it at all in my opinion.
If your the keyword that you are using on your post has something to do with your reply or thread then I could say that it would be accepted by moderators. You can get a link juice from it as long as the site is a dofollow.
That is far more obvious to search engines than just giving them a link, plus it won't blend in with your content well and will get you banned. All around horrible idea.
A link is a link so it will help but nobody can't tell how much exactly. Where are you going to spam your "hidden" links? I don't think it will work with blog comments.
I wouldn't use that method to gain links. Their are so many honest ways to get links.. without risking your site's future in Google.
So creative yet won't work. Spamming will always be spamming. There are reason why Google does not allow it.
I use hidden links as <a href="..."><img src="..." border="0"></a> where image 1x1 size, transparent gif. It were working well until today.
Hi ksi98, You said "until today", so does that mean you've suddenly had to stop with this method, or is it still good? Cheers Dave B
It might be good to get the site indexed, but in terms of boosting your serps I wouldn't imagine it would add much value since you would have rubbish anchor text
If you'll continue to link building in a SINGLE CHARACTER, you will not rank well in your targeted keyword. Anchor text in each and every links you use in linking to other website has a factor in ranking well in your targeted KWs.
No use will treat as plane text not BL...""" <a href="http://your url">S</a>""""
I once read a simple rule about SEO "if you have to hide it, you're doing it wrong" Things are hidden for a reason, it means they are doing something that is not allowed for a certain set of rules. So if you have to hide something to get backlinks, most likely you'd be penalized for it.
