Hide your ip address ?

How do you go about hiding your ip address from everyone ?

 

I unplug the cat 5 cable from the back of my computer.

There is software called anonymizer that will do it. Basically you need to route your internet connection through a proxy. Then the only IP visible is the proxy IP.

 

Well there area lot of things that can be done to hide your ip.


Use free online php proxies( Just search google and you would find millions of them)

Use a proxy directly in your web browser( For that you have to scan proxy lists to find working one or buy some proxy subscription.)


And there are a lot of free proxy plugins which you can use for firefox.

Unfortunately, any good proxy is likely to be slow due to high levels of traffic.

 

I don't understand. Is that a joke ? or can you really do that ?

Hiding the ip? Easier than unplugging your internet. Turn off your PC!!!. hehehehe...

Anyway, try visiting Defcon archives. I found one in the past.

 

Best way is to use a good proxy or purchase a proxy ip which will be static and sirf it

but why need to hide ip ? are you planning to scam someone ?

 

You could also consider a software IP roller, or opt for dial-up internet where you don't get a static IP from your internet provider xD

The main way is to browse the web anonomously is through the use of proxies, however this has a real disadvantage on loading times, but you can stil manage to browse and view media like videos.
However the only reason people want to hide them is usually to do something fradulent or dodgy, I can't think of another reason can somebody suggest why they would want to hide their IP?

 

There are a lot of ways to hide your IP address: web proxies, firefox add-ons, VPN, hide ip softwares (like IP Hider, Invisible Browsing, Hide IP Premium, etc). It depends on what you need it for.

All you have to do once you open a proxy is to type in the url in the browse box and click on 'surf'.
