    Use a 'robots.txt'
Try going to Google Webmaster Central help & search for robots.txt (can't post a link yet - which would have made it easier for you)

    Best of luck

You can't hide links that are not on your domain if that's what your asking. Otherwise (if the links are at your site) use Webmaster Tools: www.google.com/webmasters/tools

Using robots.txt will not prevent your page from showing in Google. It only prevents them from crawling it. Google still often shows pages in their SERPs that are blocked w/ robots.txt if other sites link to that page with link text that make Google think that the page is relevant to the search query. This is typically the case when you see a SERP entry with a <title> and URL but no snippet.

The best way to prevent Google from showing one of your pages in the SERPs is to use a <meta name="robots" content="noindex"> element in the head of the page that you do not want to appear. This will not only prevent Google from indexing it, but if it's already indexed then it will cause Google to remove it and never show it again in the SERPs even if the page has 1000s of links from which Google can infer what the page is about... Robots.txt does not. Here is a good post about how to prevent Google indexing.

but as RebelBetting said... you can't prevent others from linking to you with bad link text... and you can't prevent other sites' web pages from showing in the SERPs unless they are doing something that violates Google's webmaster guidelines. And being critical of you or your site doesn't qualify. Otherwise sites like ConsumerComplaints would have been out of business a long time ago.

If you are talking for hiding links that are not based on your own websites -
It is called online reputation management (ORM) which i did several times for my clients. There is a situation when you find something wrong about your business online at top of the google pages and its all ruining your reputation. So building new fresh links/websites/profiles about your company is the only formula to put down the bad url in rankings. We need to start a ORM plan for launching further micro websites/ blogs etc. and then creating quality links on top with natural SEO. Although the actual plan might be different after taking a pros look over the current situation.

If bad comments or contents are made on your website then you can remove them if contents or comments are on different domain then you cant do anything else contact the webmaster and ask them to remove bad comments from their website.
