Hi all. I have searched here and google etc for an answer, and can't quite find what I am looking for. I'm hoping you can help me. The company I work started a FB profile years ago. At the time we really didn't know the difference between profiles and pages. Now that we do, and are truly wanting to use it as an advertising tool, we have created a page. So now we can have likes rather than having to have our customers add us as friends. But, our profile of course still shows up in searches, as does our page. Is there a way to change this so only the page shows? Can I set the profile to private (as much as possible anyway with the new rules) and it not affect the page? Should I have different names on them, cover photos, etc? This whole page thing is new to me, but we want to do everything we can to utilize it, especially since competition down the road has an established presence on FB. Thanks in advance.
