Hide Category and his subcategories from Home page

    I have a Category and he have many subcategories 'Can be increased', I want to hide this Category and his subcategories from Homepage. WordPress

    I have a way to hide one Category via index.PHP
    Is

    before

    X= Category id

    but I want to hide one Category with his subcategories
