Hide Affiliate Links

I would like to start a blog about some of my favorite authors and do reviews and write-ups of books I've read. I think the Amazon affiliate program would be a natural, but I don't want to make the links obvious or I'm afraid Google or other search engines might penalize the site for having too many affiliate links.

I understand I can use nofollow to tell the search engines to ignore a link, but I also want to rewrite it so the URL itself that they see does not have amazon.com or whatever.

Is there some software that let's me help manage rewriting of affiliate links? Should I just use tinyurl?

    Should I code it myself?

    Thanks,
    Eric

Do you mean to code it myself? I might just do that.. was wondering though if there's already a nice tool to do it.

Maybe I should write one myself!
