    Yes basically this technique help to increase keyword density on source page. Next question come i the mind so why we hide the text? We don't want to show our keyphrases on the site so we hide the text for maintain user attraction and stability on the website.

    Hidden Text techniques comes under the Black Hat seo. Hidden text are use to increase the keywords density on web page while using the same color as background color. Hidden text is visible to the spider but not to human being.
