It's sad.... sad thing. I was looking for something in the Laughlin, NV area and came across this casino http://www.pioneerlaughlin.com/ which is an actual brick and mortar casino in Laughlin. I thought why did this come up on my search, it has nothing to do with what I was searching for and I don't even see it mentioned on the page. Well, if you go down to the bottom of the page you will see all the hidden text. Sad. PS. The web design company that has a link at the bottom has the same kind of crap on their pages.
LOL I've been to Laughlin before and I might have actually been to this place! That website is pretty craptacular....but what do they care, they've got a BOOZE N BUTTS store!!!!
I don't get how sites like that don't get slammed out of G. Makes you wonder if the 'carefully, carefully' approach really is worth it Out of interest, what were you searching for?
They're page 1 for Laughlin Nevada What is helping them is that they have been indexed for a while: http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.pioneerlaughlin.com/
Google doesn't seem to mind but I don't think it help the rankings either. Google is kinda neutral and looks at so many other factors and the fact that they have been indexed for so long definitely helps. Also they must have some good incoming links. But msn on the other side is probably fond of that text I think that hidden text worked once in Google for that site and they just never updated or changed anything. It amazes me how some well to do businesses look like little chop shops online while some sites operated by one person from his home and in his spare time can appear like fortune 500 companies by looking at the site.
