How do I make a hidden link to my site map? I can't select my single pixel image while its inserted in my page in Dreamweaver because it is too small. How do you slect an image that is only 1 pixel in size? Are there any other ways to make a hidden link that is not covered up?
yeah...er...okay.. Hiding a link is a BAD thing. Black hat SEO, all that..? why hide it..? Why not make it a general sitewide relevant keyphrase link..? (by the way, if you really want to make the 1x1 a link, jump into the code and throw in an href etc etc)
Agreed. A sitemap can be very useful to humans beings, too. Plus doing anything shady like that is just asking for trouble at some point. There are so many white hat things you can to improve rankings that you never really should feel a need to use black hat techniques.
Hiding a Link is a bad way to go. You must remember that that the code is what search engines use to index your site. If the search engines find ANYTHING amiss (ie. blackhat tricks) they will penalize your site greatly if not ban it all together from their indexing
