Hidden Links counted by Search Engines?

Hi, I just noticed one of my site-wide link partners changed the format on all his pages so that a visitor has to click a javascript code labeled "View Our Partners" (scroll over gives: javascript:void(0);) to show his link parters and of my link. Once the advertisement banner moves down the page, each anchor text scroll over gives the correct link address.

Will the search engines count these links?

so looking at the page source of the site, my link still shows up fine on every page, so SEO wise it should be ok, but in terms of traffic it is now essentially zero. Not cool, but he has a high page rank

I do this for my menu's on one site and google is able to read the text that comes down so my guess is that google would also be able to read any links
