I would say this is not a very good idea! Google HATES such tricks people use in order to get backlinks. But thanks for sharing your method!
First thing, commenting is no longer given such huge weightage and even if you want to take advantage of commenting, stop spamming comments. I comment on blogs and my success ratio is over 95% with links intact. Why? I don't comment without reading but I read and then comment.
^5 PDHawn... There's not a lot more work involved in reading a post and actually making a relevant comment. I trash short, meaningless comments like "Good post" on my site.
have not used yet!! It's a blackhat link building technique but will give a try to 2 tier links for testing.
This trick used to work. My favorite method was hyperlinking smileys ... which doesn't work on DP, but works on plenty of forums.
