Hello everybody! I have a quick question. I was thinking about launching a "hidden link" contest on my website...meaning, somewhere in my site, there is a hidden link, and if somebody finds it and clicks it, it takes them to a form to enter their information. Obviously, the winner get's a prize. BUT- I am not sure if this contest would be legal with Google's terms..what do you guys think?
It's a good idea but if Google get wind of it they will probably ban you. It's still kinda inviting people to click on your ads.
well you want to make people happy or google with your conest if you are so helpful to people you should not care about google. but you are doing all this to make google happy then why to start such a game ?? hehehehe
If you are trying to rank your site, avoid this game. If you do not care about ranking, go ahead and have some fun!
Why do you wan't to keep yourself in loop hole. Ok, if you desperately need to keep this contest, use robots file to avoid google crawling that page
