    Hi Friends,

I hope you all fine and have had a great weekend.

Hidden content is not preferred by the Google and is against it policies, and anyone indulging in it can get his site penalized or banned in Google. My query is that do Google allow if any content is hidden using CSS, The content is visible in source code but not visible to the site visitors. In my opinion Google wont allow this, but would like to have your expert advice on it.

    Thanks & Regards

Hidden content, cloaking etc. comes under Black Hat techniques which are not allowed by Google and you will be in a danger of getting penalized if caught doing it.

You shouldn't... but the chances of getting caught are not that high... as said above, the sites are not crawled manually

Thats is simply called Cloaking. You are not allowable to hide any part of the content from the user. Thats is purely aganist Google TOS.

Instead of hidden text, why not go for reveal text. Like a mouse over or read more button.. it should works fine..
just make sure you do not spam it.
