I used the same type of method that you would use to get attention as someone may do for myspace comments. The url and topic that I promoted was Celebrity Gossip. The amount of traffic received obviously depends of the topic that your promoting and the $ that you make back depends on that as well. In this case I didn't care about how much I made, I just wanted the traffic boost so that I could get some of those visitors to "stick" and want to come back as regular visitors in the future.
