Hey Chiarezza, First, welcome here, and to CB There's a ton to learn about this whole biz - I've been at it for about 7 months now and still have a lot to learn. But don't let that discourage you, because it's well, very well worth learning. As far as mentors go, IM is a sort of hands-off industry when it comes to a lot of personal coaching - mainly because everyone does things a little differently, and it's one of the things in life where there really isn't a single right way to go about it - in fact, some of the people who've made the most in the biz are those who've seen what others normally do to be successful, and then gone and forged their own trail and been even more successful. That's not to say there isn't a lot of great advice here and elsewhere, just to say that personal one-on-one mentors are a bit hard to come by. I've given a lot of personal, direct advice to people who IM/PM me before, but I wouldn't call myself a mentor - if for no other reason, that I know I don't have everything all figured out yet, and I'd hate to kill someone else's idea that could turn out being really great. All in all though, good luck to you - browse through the CB forum here and elsewhere, and most importantly, do your research completely and thoroughly before ever spending a dime on advertising -T
