Hi, A bit about me... I've been doing both web development (php, asp, html, databases) and online marketing (seo, ppc, newsletters) since 1997. I've worked mainly as an SEO expert during the past few years and have been very successful at getting some sites to appear at the top of Google for very popular terms. Its a lot harder to trick search engines these days though than it was back when I first started! I have also been self employed before - buying PPC ads and sending them onto affiliate programmes (until the niche I found dissappeared). With regards to web development, I tend to just learn what I need to, when I need to. My main interest just now - and my reason for joining this forum - is in Web Directories. I'm hard at work creating a new one, but don't know a great deal about them - hence want to starting finding out why people use directories and what makes a good one! Cheers
