hi, what are the must have directories to submit your site to?

    i know some directories are looked down upon. since google hasnt indexed my site yet, i dont want to be thrown into the lake of junk. what are you must submissions?

    google, yahoo, msn, how about dmoz?

    A listing in Dmoz is very valuable nowadays. Just go there and properly submit your site and then forget about it. It takes ages to be approved there.

    You can also submit one article to ezinearticles.com, it's know to help indexing your site in matters of days.

    DMOZ is a must have but they are really slow on approving sites right now.

    you don't submit to google/yahoo/msn you get backlinks you get crawled

    Submit to any free webdirectory in the long run you will see the effects

    Yahoo has a paid directory. I think its like $99. Apparently, heavily weighted by google.
