I tried to register under the nameYian, but my mail box couldn't receive the activation email, so I have to use this name YianG. Just want to say hi the the community.
After all the welcomes I recieved, its time to give back a welcome.. Hi Yian(G)... Kutztown Pennsylvania, ah I saw they have a Dutch Folklife festival there... But you are not dutch I think....
Hi hi thanks for the warm welcome! Yes I'm currently residing in the PA Kutztown. But as you can see, I'm a Hutt, not a Dutch hahaha... I'm actually an Asian, Taiwanese more precisely. Came to the States roughly a bit more than five years ago. I found this place while doing some search on database management, and Google found a page that contained a link to this place. But I didn't thought aout becoming a member till now. I don't think it's Jabba. It is definitely a Hutt, though. It is a Hutt from KOTOR II, so it is 4,000 years before Jabba's time. I can't remember his name. i love Hutts, simply due to their incredible business management style: sitting there doing no thing, yet every else runs around doing the bidding. Look at him... fat and slimy and doesn't even have any legs, but he is the boss! How did he achieve that!?
Our host provides alot of great tools and this forum on which you will find alot of useful talent as well. Do you run websites in html or dynamic? Maybe a forum? Hope to see ya around.
Thanks. I run a blog/gallery site with php (that's dynamic, right? I'm not too sure) and it is going on for quite a while, but a lot of places need to be completed. I need to finish installing the scripts for the comic page, upload all the files for junkyard (programs and extensions ans stuff) and a link page that put my friend's page there. I don't think my site will ever need a forum. It sounds kind of too much for a site that has very little traffic. I'm happy just for the fact I have a place onlne to post things. And thanks, I will definitely check out the all the threads here. So far this place looks so resourceful.
If you have little traffic a forum may do the trick, but making a forum popular is very difficult....
