h1 defines the largest header. and also says the first heading of any page. attribute of the h1 to h6 and H1 tag is an important element on the list of things to help you to rank.

 

Yup. H1, h2, h3, h4, h5 ,h6 are header tags, which should be used in order of descending importance. Shouldn't be more than one H1 tag on a page.

Can the header tags <h1><h2><h3> etc... be pre-defined in size and font style using CSS? Because using them just naturally they're way huge.

 

Yup using CSS is the way to style those tags.

yes this is also one of the advantage....use CSS style sheet..

 

h1 tag is very important. You should just add only one h1 tag in one html page.
h1 tag should contain your main keywords.

 

h1 tag shows how the page is all about, so place main keywords.

 

Not whole page,
It;s about the specific para.
You must be having more than one para. in content, which are not going to same.
