What is your internet connection speed? Do you have a dedicated IP address to which Cpanel could bind to?

Can I ask if there is any particular reason for your doing this, the Link speed you will need, added to the dedicated Ip, means that economy isnt great, especially when you can pick up a server in a DC, all set up and looked after for you, at around $50 a month now (although not with cPanel I will admit)

It is done occasionally, and I would be able to suggest the basic steps, but mere curiosity has me asking why ? :)

Ok, Here comes the basic steps ;)

    1) Install Linux OS in your computer
    2) Get a dedicated IP
    3) Install Cpanel. The instructions to install Cpanel is on http://sumith.net/faqs/intro.html
    4) Secure the server
    5) Tweak the server settings to increase the server performance.
