can google crawl behind the login area..... means if we have some links but can only seen after we sign in....can these link be also crawled by google spider thanks
No google spiders will not crawl or index any pages behind login window. It is because google spiders cannot enter user name and password to login and see the page which is protected by user login.
Thanks but if i have link of my site on other site but behind the login area...then can i count one incoming link ... ?
Google will not crawl private pages, but it indexes profile pages of twitter. And Yahoo shows the backlinks from twitter.
It wont count as backlink too, cause google will not reach that area and will not aware about your link too.
well at present Google is unable to fill the login details and access the area behind login. but may be in future they can do so. Google Adsense crawler can go behind login area and allows publishers to place ads on pages behind a login by following an authentication process. this feature can be used to access login area for Organic Results also. So at present if you are getting links behind the login area, then its not useful for you..
no bcz if you log in that time page is redirect on other page and page will change so linking is change
Here my opinion is that if you make your profile public after log in to your id, then it is crawled by google and indexed on the backlink, I already got lots of backlink to my blog from profile page.
How can i check this that my link is search able behind the log in area or not...means is there any tool to check this....?
What are you saying guys google can definitely crawl those links. If any website dont want google to crawl its page it will use robot.text to prohibit google to crawl that poge. Google crawls that links which require log in.
Hi thanks...you are the first person ...who answered that google can crawl the area behind the log in page i will appreciate it if u can give any example.... thanks
Google won't crawl that page behind the login area. If you are providing link to any page that comes in restricted area, one is redirected to login first same is the case with Google. The spider will be redirected to login page and can't fill the details.
