Hi. Newbie here trying to learn about blogging

Hi. I'm a total newbie here and I am trying to learn as much as I can. There is so much to learn and understand that it seems a little overwhelming. I started a blog after reading a thread about using adsense to make money. Part of me always wanted to write a blog and finding out you can make money off it was just the final motivation I needed. My main motivation isn't to make money. My main motivation is to share my thoughts and opinions with others, and if I can make some money while doing it why not.
