Yep, the short sales pages convert well, some of my affiliates get 1/30 conversation from their review page.

 

thank you, the conversions are well, not sure why cb not allow you add wii on your site, maybe it because it is a wii hack related product from you. I also added some links to you product in my member area, hope bring many sales for you in the future.

 

Some kind of products simply work with shorter sales pages. This is not something about making money, curing diseases, getting your ex back, which try to convince the customer to buy the product, and they try to reach him on an emotional level. The point of these shorter sites is usually a technical feature or membership (i.e unlocking your wii or downloading games) for which the customer doesn't need convincing, and the features are usually straight-to-the-point.

They see it, they think, wow, I can get unlimited Wii Downloads and download all my favourite games and movies, that's awesome, they see a fancy web site, and they join in.

What I'm trying to say is, for some type of products, mostly the ones that don't reach the customer on an emotional level, but go more for impluse buyers, the customer needs very minimal convincing for those, a nice sales page, and just a little text is enough, rather than a long sales page.
