hi just bought opentradez.com your input?

    hi, i'm quite a newbie to all of this so try to plain as possiable.

    I bought opentradez.com a few days ago after long and tiresome search for a domain name which is avialble and also suitable, i guess now i know which are the guys to lay the blame with :mad: LOL.

    the site will be about second hand commerce and commerce in general much like an ebay alternative. i didn't do a keyword sherch or whathever you guys do to evaluate the potental of the domain beforehand, can you shed some stattistics on the name.

    i would very gratefull if could receive some input, if i made a wise choise... or not (be honest, you won't break my heart). i would also be glad for other domain name suggestion if you have a better one, nothing is set in stone yet :cool:

    looking for as much of opinions as possible.

    oh and also how much would you evalute it for if i wanted to sell it, just for the kicks of it :p

    Not bad keywords but I am not a big fan of the "z" for "s" typos. I would go with a different set of related keywords and have the correct spelling .com - for resell value I think you might be able to get low $xx for it. Hope that helps :)

    thanks you for your replies i appriciate them.

    i found that opentrade is a registerd tradmark will i have problems for my name in the future.

    the z actually isn't necessarly a misspell it could also mean zone.

    does opentradezone.com sound better? and will it give me fewer problem regerding tradmarking issues in future, or will it be best to find another name altogether.

    not a very good domain, but everything else depends on how efficiently you brand it as your website.

    If you're trying to create a commerce site like eBay where people list their items for sale, the domain name will have very little to do with generating search results. Most likely search results will come from individual listing pages so it would probably be best to choose a unique, catchy domain name instead of one that is a misspelling.
