Nobody will buy it from you, unless there is somebody who has a developed website on the .COM version. But, of course, if they already have a trademark, then you will be in legal trouble. The .COM would be preferable to the .net. If you're going to develop a website, then the brand could be okay. But you should definitely get the .COM, in that case. If you don't plan to develop your domain, then accept that you wasted your money, let it go, and move forward.
