I rank in similar places for Google, Yahoo and I'm starting to get there on Bing now. About 99% of my traffic comes from Google, 0.7% from Bing and 0.3% from Yahoo. Yeah, that's why I don't care about the other search engines

 

That could be true, but what if Yahoo and MSN suddenly up their game, you would have already done the work beforehand to achieve it, always plan ahead for business aims and objectives, never underestimate Google it might stay at the top, but the others may just catch up.

Google is definitely the only one that you should be concerned with.

 

If your target market is the US only, then yes, Google.com is important. I am canadian and have canadian products sometimes - so I buy the .ca domain name and get great results on Google.ca but not Google.com, but it fits my niche.
