Hi guys i got my website www.kenplay.com i need some colours that go well with each other arecade site kids playing agmes and stuff need nice and neat also if you think the yellow and greay works just need ya oprions cheers Anthony
Yellow and grey here work very well and overall the site is pretty clean, though because you have all those boxes with lists of games, you could maybe let the boxes expand closer the the righthand side (unless you have a lot of viewers with 800x600 screens). I could still find everything pretty easily. Keep the colours including the mouseover colours.
Is it just me or is the layout widths a little off? I run a large monitor with high resolution, when viewing the page it seems the background is set to a percentage width, and the internal layout widths are set widths and aligned to the left.
HI yeah i no chnage colours a bit to yellow and black and adde a new logo. alsoyeah the one side does seemed alighn thr the left as ive had a prob with it and i aint got the time to re-do the whole of theb css sheet still work well the side scarper get alot if clcikcs
I posted a blog about this, you might want to read it. It details a few free color tools that might be helpful to you: Color Scheme Generator, Color Contrast and Brightness Analyzer and Color Schemes. I noticed andrej agrees with my recommendation of adobe kuler. You can find it here: webfabric.blogspot.com/2007/07/free-color-tools-for-web-designers.html I hope it is helpful to you.
I love all of those color apps I blogged about. I used to be so left brain/computer science type before I got into design. These sites really help you begin to think of colors in a different way. After looking at dozens and dozens of schemes, you begin to understand what goes together and why.
