Hi I Am New & Wanted To Introduce Myself Also I Think This Forum Is Great!

First off I have been doing allot of reading on this forum and I love it. There seems to be allot of great people actually sharing and having fun here!

Now I will tell you how I got started in this crazy mission adsense...


While working, and yes I have a web design, and hosting business but it still is not to the point where I can quit my regular job, but it is growing, anyway while working a co-worker asks me some questions about website design and SEO etc, etc. So I answered what I could answer and directed him where to get any other questions answered. Then it occurs to me..Why is he asking about this stuff, he is not into computers, he has a hard time just reading emails at work hehe. So I asked him....he then takes me aside and says "hey have you ever heard of adsense?", so I say well ya I have but the only google programs I had tried at the time was google adwords in order to promote a website I run.

Now keep in mind I had heard all the yahoo about people making tons of money etc etc, and I have seen the worst looking sites in the top ten, and they ironically all had what on them....google adsense ads.

So he then tells me that his brother was making about $40,000 a month and all using adsense, Amazon affiliate links etc. So coming from this guy I was really intrigued because this is the kind of guy you would have to have scientific proof to get anything by him, probably the most skeptical person when it comes to money making programs affiliate this and that. So he explained that his brother probably spends about $15,000 to $20,000 a month to run his operation, but he makes $40,000 so he is profiting around $20,000. Well after our conversation I have been hooked on this adsense thing and I really want to learn how it all works. I know it will take time and creativity but the things I have NEVER been good at, or learned enough about is:

1. creating search engine friendly sites with good keywords and phrases
2. the best procedure for submitting your sites to search engines and how often
3. what can be used in them news feeds from yahoo, good original articles, and how often to change them

etc, etc.


One interesting thing he told me was that this brother of his will pick a topic or subject, like many posts here have said, then he gets like 5 to 10 domains for that subject. He then builds sites for different sub categories for that topic. Like say you had a topic about why you like Florida, that's one site, then another one about the best places to shop in Florida, the next maybe a little online shop to sell Florida memorabilia.... So when someone types in Florida he has a better chance of getting visitors to one of those sites.


But even still with millions of sites how do you get anywhere near the top to get those visitors?



Ohh ya and my BIGGEST Question I was wondering how and where to get info on this linking subject, I have an idea of what it is but lining or back linking seems to be an important point to this and I know with alexa.com it show traffic and sites that link to whatever.com.

So Hi to all and you will see allot of me here as I am now officially ADSENSE ADDICTED> In no way do I expect any replies as I know I am a NEWBIE and I know that most newbies are looked at as a pain in the but most of the time. But maybe even some links to point be to the starting line would be great!

I have also read allot by shoemoney I think it is, this guy seems to know allot along with many of you here, If I wanted to get some personal consultations how and where do I get that information?

Actually, this site takes pretty well to the new guys. I have only posted on here for around a week now and i feel right at home. I hope you feel the same way, this place is full of usefull information and people. Everyone seems to be alright around here.

Hi this mooring I made a new post introducing myself and asking some basic questions, and explaining how I got involved with adsense. Why was my post deleted from this forum??

I did not spam anything, I simply was asking about newbie stuff and saying I was happy to find this forum. yes I can understand that some post need to be removed but I got no email no explanation nothing.

I am really confused considering I have seen many posts around here THAT SHOULD BE DELETED. Can someone explain please, preferably admin!

 

Are you sure it's deleted?? It's maybe have been moved somewhere it belongs too.
