I now have over 25 posts and just tried to post in the contest section but was STILL not allowed

I have also been a member for over 14 days

Why can't I post a job in the contests section?

Some please explain, or I am going to beat my mouse to a pulp

This is the message I keep getting:

You must have been a member for 14 days, not have an overall red reputation and have 25 total posts to post in the Buy, Sell or Trade forum (which includes link exchanges) or the Politics & Religion forum.
It can take up to an hour for your new permissions to be active.

 

Welcome to DP! Exactly as the message says you got to be a member for 14days, and have a total of 25 post before you can access (post) in those areas.
