I speak a few but have learnt two more since signing up here. One is DPnese, this is the broken pigeon English that one often finds here. The other is Gibberish which is spoken when one doesn't know what one is talking about. This language is often spoken here as well.
Normally i love to learn new languages. My mother tongue being Tamil, i am fluent in English, Tamil and Sinhala. I am learning / understand Hindi/Urdu , Spanish, French and Arabic. I think this is a good set of languages because it's spoken by a wide population. It will be great if i can learn Chinese, but i am afraid of Chinese I use Duolingo in my smartphone which is so awesome and free, for learning new languages!
English, BASIC, AppleSoft, 6502 Assembly, FoxPro, HTML, Javascript, and recently started learning CSS, so, unless I forgot one or more, I speak 8 languages.
English. I have very limited and basic ability to read a little French (due to taking courses in school that I hated.) But I can swear like a pro in Portuguese.
I can speak any language with the help of google. But the thing is we must have phone and internet availability.
I can speak three languages: English, Spanish, and a little French. English is my first language, so I grew up with it. I learned Spanish in school, and I’ve really enjoyed it over the years. Watching Spanish TV shows and listening to music has helped me a lot to get better. Recently, I started learning French. I wanted a simple and fun way to practice every day, so I turned to Duolingo. It’s a great platform because it offers short, easy lessons that fit into your daily routine. I’ve found it really useful for building vocabulary and learning new phrases. Some people also use modified versions of Duolingo, like a Duolingo mod IPA, to unlock extra features. However, I recommend being cautious with unofficial versions and focusing on platforms like Duolingo that offer reliable and safe learning experiences. What about you? How many languages do you speak? And how did you learn them?
